Family Medical Practice Fountain Inn
Robert Hellams, MD, is a Fountain Inn native who is excited to return home and provide care for the people in his hometown. Dr. Hellams served on active duty in the U.S. Army as a helicopter pilot and paratrooper for nearly a decade. Fortunately, the Army afforded him the opportunity to attend medical school at the University of South Carolina after his active duty service. Once he completed his medical training, he practiced emergency medicine around the South in ERs large and small for more than 25 years. He is excited about this new opportunity at Prisma Health Primary Care–Fountain Inn, and he looks forward to helping people of the Golden Strip achieve better health. He strives to enhance the quality of the health care patients receive and hopes to ensure all patients enjoy the patient experience at this Fountain Inn practice.
